No, you haven't read it wrong, we will train you free!
However, as with everything in life there is a catch!
Well, actually several!
1. First you will need to pay up front for your DSA exams, learning materials and PDI licence. This comes to £550.00 and is paid to us. We don't spend this on anything else but if you don't have the commitment or self belief we don't want to know you! If we are going to give you free training we need to see some drive and dedication from you!
2. Once through part 2 training you must go onto a Trainee (PDI) licence. This will give you the experience you will need with real learner drivers to help you pass the final part of the DSA exams, the test of instructional ability. This is by far the hardest test to pass with a national average of only 30% of those attempting the exam passing! The reasons for this are numerous but do include poor trainee selection. After this you will be free to go your own way but we would of course like you to consider staying with us.
3. As this is at present a pilot scheme the training is only available in North / West Yorkshire or the North East of England, so any accomodation needed must be paid for by the trainee.
4. There isn't a 4! That's it! So if you feel you can convince us that you are suitable we will train you.
Next step: Email: firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll give you more information or consider your application.
